I adore this picture. There are so many cute things about it. I imagine that little thumb with dirt under the nail, someday when Ben plays outside and gets filthy. I love those little dimples in the other hand. The shoes are just plain cute; they were a shower gift from Uncle Scott and Aunt Tracey, and they fit perfectly right now. Almost too small, which works out well: he can't kick them off anymore! I recently overheard a mom worrying about her son taking Driver's Ed, and I have decided that Ben will not be allowed to grow up.

Those shoes are the BEST! My kids pretty much lived in them until they needed to wear real shoes outside. They can't come off!
Love the shoes, and love the idea of keeping him small forever.
Thank you for your comment, we've recently been tossing around the idea of relocating if John got a ministry opportunity somewhere else and like you I think I would miss my close friends so much. But I just also wanted to say how fun it has been to add you as one of my unexpected friends! And unlike some people I blog stalk I do actually know you in real life too :)
