I've been clicking through BabyCenter's conversation threads online, and I came across several posts entitled "July Baby Bump." This particular thread is 2008 babies, so I'm seeing pictures of bellies that might pop in January, but many of which are set to deliver a few months later. I found a few whose due dates are close to mine, and I was comparing the size of my belly to theirs. Each picture's caption tells how far along the mama-to-be is. I was surprised at some, either bigger than I expected or barely showing (and I thought - why did you bother to post, ha) until I came across this picture of a woman who was HUGELY pregnant... we're talking, I imagine I'll look like that in about four more months, and I scrolled down eagerly to see how far along she was.
Um, seven weeks.
SEVEN. WEEKS.
Holy cow! I couldn't believe it! I was floored until I read the post right below hers, which said something like "Congratulations Mary, you look beautiful again, I can't believe this is baby #9 for you!"
Holy cow! I couldn't believe it! Let me add that the girl in the pic looks about, oh, MY AGE. Yikes.

I bet she's from the mid atlantic down on into the south with baby#9!
Don't know if you remember the pregnant guitar soloist at our wedding, but she was pregnant with baby #5 and went on to have 2 more, and the last one was 1 of triplets that survived..so they have 7 kids and Erin, the youngest is now 9! Originally they said when they married they were gonna have 12!ha!
I used to love those message boards, everyone sharing their stories and comparing. How fun!
Thanks so much for your comment.. You are right, it should be used as a note but not a lesson that I had a bad run... I am going to try the tips you gave me! Thanks, swister.
