Traditions

When my father and my uncle were born, my grandmother was given an arrangement of flowers in a cute little baby shoe. She somehow managed to save these keepsakes for decades, through to the birth of her two great-grandsons! My father's little boot was given to my mother when my brother was born, and then passed on to my sister-in-law when my nephew was born. I, in turn, received the cute little boot of my uncle after the birth of my son. I think it's lovely, and I am impressed that these little shoes have now brought several generations a smile. Thanks so much to Gram and to Uncle Dan for their willingness to part with the tiny treasure. :)

Wow! That is so cool! Keep posting pictures of Benjamin..we all love to see them.
Was Benjamin named after one of Josh's family members?
I too will be sending you something(soon) of a heirloom I made for Benjamin and any future Kresge babies.
