Not Me! Monday

If you haven't heard of MckMama, you probably haven't been reading my blog for long. Ha ha. Her son Stellan's button is in my sidebar, and this post idea is hers. I haven't attempted it before, but it's a great way to get the blog juices flowing when you're stumped. So here goes!
Because I am the sort of mom who never cuts corners, it is highly unlikely that I would ever pull dirty clothing out of the hamper and wear it, even running. Not me! I've never done anything like that.

Nor have I ever, ever hit a drive-thru and fed my child while in the car, knowing that he is just distracted enough to actually eat. Nope, not me!

I am not even a little bit obsessive about white socks. I have never scrubbed the dirty ones with Oxi-Clean, not even once. I don't bother to remove my socks if I'm not wearing slippers in order to keep my socks clean. That's just not my style. I surely have more important things to worry about.

And while we're denying obsessive compulsive behaviors, wiping the bathroom faucet is not part of my every-single-visit-to-the-bathroom ritual. I admit that I love for it to be clean, but wiping it every time? Over the top. I would never do that, not me! Pure craziness.

Want an opportunity to 'come clean?' Leave your "Not mes!" in the comments!

I am totally not "that" mom who dips her child's paci in water after it falls on the floor! (not even more than once)!

Love the topic. I will have to leave more!

Woo hoo, another OCD mom! (Or... *not*... as the case may be on Mondays...)

I'm also a clean-freak... and I NEED to have a clean rest room. It's an obsession of mine, to say the least! The toilet may be dirty, but my sinks... always clean.

I think I am the dirtiest of all. I agree with Kara, I hardly ever 'dip' the pacifiers. how about this one, I probably shouldn't even say this, I hardly ever wash work clothes unless I get something on them, or they really stink. And I still complain of lots of laundry. And the boys wear their jammies mutliple times too. I am not a clean freak, I will admit to that.

I thought of another as I was coming home from work today with a turkey in the front seat. I am so 'not' the mom that can just bring/sign up for plates or juice when you need to bring something to a party. I NEED to be that mom. I am bringing a freaking turkey to Adam's Thanksgiving feast on Friday. The pre-k teacher told me that she has never had anyone bring a turkey. Why can't I just do a can of cranberry sauce? I ALWAYS make trouble for myself...
