...but it's so fitting

I don't really love cliches, but there are certain circumstances when a word or phrase just fits better than any other. Today the word I am thinking about is "senioritis." For those of you who are graduates of medical terminology, you know that this means 'inflammation of the senior.' I'm not feeling particulary inflamed, so it doesn't fit that way, but I can tell you that I have a textbook case of senioritis, characterized by blah sort of emotions about getting ANYthing done. I don't feel like reading, studying, writing in my clinical journal, finding an AA meeting to attend, or listening in on a group at the methadone clinic. I don't even care if I find a stupid white uniform dress to wear to the most important night of my nursing education. I'd much rather eat, write email, work on my graduation announcements, plan fun things to do around Christmastime, and, well, blog. Geesh. With all of that going on, hope I find time to graduate... ;)

Ugh. All of that complaining done, I leave you with a funny thought from Josh's cousin's away message:

Senioritis. We'd fight for a cure if we weren't so lazy.
