Out of the mouths of babes

I once said, "Billy Graham? Who's that cracker?" thinking I had cleverly put together "graham" and "cracker" and thus created my own oh-so-smart pun. I was about .... oh, nine, and I had no idea that 'cracker' was any sort of derogatory term, much less that it might apply to an older white guy.

I imagine Mr. Graham has enough heart to give grace to an ignorant nine-year-old.
