Feeling lucky...

I have heard of at least two people on my floor who wanted the same week of vacation that Josh and I are taking for our cruise. It's apparently spring break for the colleges and who knows what else. I sure am glad that I put in my request when I did! I feel very lucky.

Josh and I bought two suitcases at TJ Maxx last week. We priced them there and then went to JC Penney which was advertising 60% off their luggage collection. TJ Maxx put their sale prices to shame, for the same suitcases, so we went back and picked up a couple. It's nice to have a reason to buy suitcases! We have been traveling with those athletic-style duffel/gym bags for the past several years, so it's nice to have something sturdier. I feel very lucky!

I went shopping at Kohl's 70% off clearance sale on MLK day and got a cute dress and a top, which of course were off-season... but which will be PERFECT for the cruise! I almost always get to the sales after everything is picked over, but I did well this time. I feel very LUCKY!
