I know it's a little early for this, but...

We really haven't had that much to complain about this winter (so far). I think I've had to clean my car off 3 or 4 times, and I know I've only shoveled the walkway once. (Josh has probably done it 3 times.) We just haven't had a lot of snow. I am wondering if we will get away with it, or if we'll be pounded in February/March. You never can tell.

Anyway, spring is only 54 days away, if I remember the first day of spring correctly (March 21?), and I am looking forward to the daffodils and tulips that sprung out of the soil to my pleasant surprise last year. It was kind of fun to watch the yard blossom, as I had no idea what had been planted! This year the flowers won't be a surprise, but on the other hand, I can look forward to them. And maybe this will be the year we re-landscape the front of the house... at least rearrange some of the bushes that have come to grow on top of each other. Welcome, warmer weather, sunnier days, prettier yards! Posted by Picasa
