So, if you haven't guessed it already by my very witty inclusion of a picture of delicious tomato sauce...I'm pregnant! I'm 12 weeks along as of June 18th. So far I have been feeling prettttty nauseated, so I am hoping and praying my little heart out that the 12-week point will mark the end of this particular characteristic of pregnancy. I haven't enjoyed much of this first trimester, between the nausea and the worry that goes along with finding out you are pregnant, but I am looking forward to what is to come. Josh came with me to my first ultrasound at about 10 1/2 weeks. We got to see and hear the heart beat, as well as witness that little blob on the screen waving its arm and leg buds to no end. It is truly fascinating to think that there is another life growing inside of me!
The family is due to expand sometime around December 31.
